Date: 21 April 2024
Location: Taman Pudu Ulu, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
With water guns blazing and spirits running high, SJKC Choong Wen hosted its highly anticipated Song Krun 2025 celebration on 21 April 2024 at Taman Pudu Ulu, Cheras. Organized by the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG), the event was a joyful nod to Songkran—the traditional Thai New Year—reimagined for a fun-filled community gathering.
The event space burst into color with a grand backdrop adorned with the words “Song Krun 2025 奖文行” and bold prize announcements, signaling a festive occasion that welcomed both competition and camaraderie. Five transparent balloons brimming with colorful minis stood proudly in front of the stage, symbolizing joy, abundance, and youthful energy.
From 7 AM to noon, families, students, and guests engaged in splash-filled games and community activities, many vying for prizes as large as RM30,000. The event drew generous sponsorship and highlighted the school’s strong ties with local supporters and partners.
“Song Krun 2025” was more than just a celebration—it was a vivid reflection of unity, cultural appreciation, and the importance of shared joy in the school community. SJKC Choong Wen’s efforts proved once again that learning and fun go hand in hand.
